2022-10-23 - Full Scale Tanker Task Force County Drill

Sunday, October 23, 2022 - Full Scale Water Supply and Resource Deployment Exercise in Millstone (Monmouth County), New Jersey. Simulated Warehouse Fire in a 1 million square foot building. Objective was to achieve 3000 gpm’s on the B-side and 3000gpm’s on the D-side of the building. After the fillsites became fully operational, Side D was able to sustain 3000gpms feeding two (2) master streams and blitz fires We operated both sides and estimated just shy of 6000 gpm, but were very close. We shut down side D and tested what Side B could do by itself and sustained 5100gpm’s with all tankers/tenders feeding the one side. Overall, if we had one more strike team of five tankers, we would have absolutely had achieved 6000-7000gpm’s. Nice job by All!!! Resources aided in: Three (3) water supply drop points, Nine (9) fill-sites. Monmouth County: Ten (10) engines Nine (9) tankers/tenders Three (3) Towers Middlesex County: Seven (7) Engine full-site strike team (five fillsites).
